Pay the fines in time

If you do not pay the fine in time, you will be sent a payment reminder. The fine amount shall be paid within 14 days of the reminder, no reminder fee is imposed. The Swedish Police Authority may not approve any instalment plan.

If, despite the reminder, you do not pay the fines, the matter is turned over to the Swedish Enforcement Authority. This will include a fee of SEK 600. When the matter has been transferred, the Swedish Police Authority's involvement is concluded. Any questions should be addressed directly to the Enforcement Authority.

Damages

If the summary imposition of a fine/judgment refers to damages, this is to be paid to the injured party. If you do not pay voluntarily, the injured party can recover the amount with the help of the Swedish Enforcement Authority, resulting in a cost increase. Note that the Swedish Police Authority does not send out an inpayment form with regard to damages.
