Cargo ship boarded in the Baltic Sea
The Swedish Police have assisted the Swedish Coast Guard in a boarding of the cargo ship Caffa in the Baltic Sea.
The ship is suspected of sailing under false flag in Swedish territorial waters.
The boarding was carried out Friday afternoon by operators from the Police Special Intervention Unit (Nationella insatsstyrkan). The operation called “Black Coffee” was swiftly carried out according to plan. The Swedish Coast Guard are now in charge of the investigation concerning the ship.
